Bonds Breaks the Record -- August 7, 2007 -- Mike Bacsik's 3-2 pitch to Barry Bonds results in career homer number 756, breaking the Major League Baseball record set by Hank Aaron on July 20, 1976.
Matt Cain is Perfect! June 13, 2012 -- Among nearly 250,000 games played in MLB history, just twenty-four of them have ended as perfect games. Matt Cain threw the 22nd perfect game at what was then called AT&T Park against the Houston Astros—one of a record three perfect games thrown that season.
A Dynasty in the 2010s -- Led by manager Bruce Bochy, the Giants became baseball's dominant force, winning championships in 2010, 2012, and 2014 over the Texas Rangers, Detroit Tigers, and Kansas City Royals, respectively. Bochy would later win his fourth World Series with the Texas Rangers in 2023.
Buster Posey -- Giants Legend -- The leader of three World Series teams, Posey earned the 2012 NL MVP, 2010 NL Rookie of the Year, seven All-Star selections, five Gold Gloves, five Silver Sluggers, and a batting title in 2012. After retirement, Posey became the Giants' President of Baseball Operations.
McCovey Cove -- A San Francisco Landmark -- Beyond right field, a section of San Francisco Bay is unofficially named for Hall of Famer Willie McCovey, who played 19 of his 22 seasons with the Giants. Kayakers gather in the bay before and during games, hoping to catch "Splash Hits" that land in the water on the fly.
The 2007 All-Star Game -- July 10, 2007 -- The American League defeated the National League 5-4 in the Midsummer Classic. Hall of Famer Ichiro Suzuki won MVP honors in front of 43,965 fans.
Kung Fu Panda -- Pablo Sandoval -- Spending 11 of his 14 MLB seasons with the Giants (including the first seven), Sandoval became one of the most popular players on the three championship teams and earned World Series MVP honors in 2012.
Sanchez's No-Hitter -- July 10, 2009 -- Entering the game with a 5.30 ERA, Jonathan Sanchez threw the first Giants no-hitter in 33 years. Even more impressively, he didn't walk a batter. The only Padres baserunner that game reached due to an error in the 8th inning.
Big Time Timmy Jim's Second No-No -- June 25, 2014 -- A three-time World Series champion and two-time consecutive Cy Young Award winner, Tim Lincecum no-hit the Padres for the second time in consecutive seasons, this time at AT&T Park.
