J-Roll Walks Off the Dodgers – October 19th, 2009 – Arguably the most popular Philie to ever play at CBP, Jimmy Rollins doubles off Jonathan Broxton in the bottom of the 9th to give the Phillies the win in Game Four of the 2009 NLCS. J-Roll passes Schmitty! June 14th, 2014 – With a base hit to right field, Jimmy Rollins becomes the Phillies all-time hits leader with his 2,235th hit in a Phillies uniform, surpassing Mike Schmidt. Schmidt comes out from the dugout to get Jimmy’s bat and congratulate him.
Aaron Rowand crashes into the fence! May 11th, 2006 – The game didn’t mean much, but Rowand’s effort surely did. Emblematic of the blue collar city that Philly is, he ran face-first into the wall while robbing Xavier Nady of extra bases, suffering a broken nose and several broken bones around his eye….and becoming a Philly folk hero in the process.
